Zada Connaway

When I set up the forum, Zada was the most prolific poster. An eight hour time difference meant that she posted while I slept. In the morning, I would visit the forum and read all her responses on every thread. Zada was on a slow dial-up connection and must have spent hours diligently answering everyone. She was a pillar of support and always had a kind word for everyone.

At the moment, Zada is too tired to post on the forum; she is undergoing chemo therapy and it is taking its toll. She still visits the forum and reads the posts. Please send your best wishes and keep Zada in your thoughts.

I know what it's like to go through Chemo. Not personally no, but my mother had breast cancer a little over ten years ago and I know how hard it is. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Zada, and I hope that you'll be able to pull through it.

Well now darling, you picked a good time to get sick. These doctors today fix about anything from quick step, to can’t step. I take it your in a hospital? I was in and out myself getting my heart fixed. I learned all about how to get extra food and drinks. I’m going to pass the secret on to you dear…smile, call nurses by their first name, and ask, ”Darling, can you do me a favor?” All wards have extra food and drink on hand.

Walk around some. You meet the most enjoyable people in hospitals. If you wake up in the middle of the night dear, just log in, “Published Authors.” You’re not alone darling…we are right beside you.
