sorry for the absence

I disappeared sometime in mid-January I suspect. January 14th, for those here who don't follow my blog, Adam and I survived a flash flood that took out the campground we were living at, water swept through our home and we lost many things, but thankfully the Red Cross and some very loving friends with open hearts helped us replace and heal and repair, and finally as of today, we're moved into another campground, are plugged in, online, and once again it feels like home. Although during this time of homelessness when we were boondocked while our RV home was repaired, I started referring to it as "the mothership" and you know what? I like that, so the name will remain....

During this time I took a production job for just two weeks, that almost destroyed my left hand. My thumb is still numb, and may be for months. If I was 20 years younger I could've done the work, but I'm just too old for that... I quit on my own after the swelling in my hand wouldn't go down. Eating ibuprofen and naproxen around the clock to stay on top of swelling and pain - for the record - I think it sucks fossilized Godzilla eggs. I took the job in faith, and I let it go in equal faith. There is something out there for me... that wasn't it. But at least t gave me something to write about, right? Anyway, I'm glad to be back. And most definitely glad to be HOME.

Good to have you back. Sorry for the problems, but you appear to be a survivor.
