I usually don't say things about unpublished works, but I believe here I'm among friends and I wanted my friends to know that I've just submitted a new manuscript to Covenant Communications for their consideration. They are located in American Fork, Utah, just south of Salt Lake and they cater primarily to an LDS audience. Some of their publications are suitable for a wider audience, however. Anyway, wish me luck.

Best of luck with that MS. I find the submission process a very scary time because there's so much waiting around for answers involved. Hope you get a great answer.

Hope it works out well for you, Charlie.

I never thought about it before, but a great way to quit worrying about submissions is to send off a number of different short stories to major magazines. Quite often by the time you hear back you have forgotten what that particular story was about. Then if the first publisher didn't want it you just send it off to someone else. That way you always have a bunch of stuff floating around somewhere.
