Recent visits with Lynn's in-laws made me realize that this movie I am about to describe would be one that they would enjoy had me in a turmoil. I wanted to lend them the DVD, but the main human character was, in part, the inspiration for on of my major characters in Daniels Daughter, one Jack Thorne. It is an old film, from 1992.
My dilemma was solved when I realized that the film was available - in 8-10 minute segments, on YouTube, through this member, at this site:

Knowing that I could watch the segments, if I needed to, gave me the courage to lend my DVD to Clint and Linda.
It is a delightful tale about wild horses, and a woman who writes stories about them (sound familiar?)
I cannot watch the film without thinking of our Betty and her tales of Wooffer and his friends.
While the film is a very important source for Jack, this little bit where the actor explains how he developed the character is even more important as source material.

The main thing is, it is a film about horses and other animals of the Australian bush, and the humans are all supporting characters.
Give the movie a try - you might be surprised to find how much you like it.
It may not be around on YouTube long - not sure about the copyright stuff.
