Perhaps I do not have a big enough 'friend' pool. I do not post a lot, either, and so it may be me that is the shallow end of the pool. And I do not imagine, on second thoughts, that it is a place to really put out your 'real self' because no one much cares about you, they care about themselves and what they are posting.

So, there I was, looking out.

I do appreciate Ann Lebrecht's courage, E. Don's lovely voice of reason and Rhett's humor, your own quotes and messages and Annie's recipies and pictures of Texas Hill Country, Shelagh is always supportive and has nice things to say.

So, on second look, I am full of pooh!

No, you are not.

I got tired of the place and left, but then the kdis post pictures on there that I don't see if I am not there. I went back. I will limit the time I spend there.

I think it's like a lot of places. You have to pick and choose what you look at. There is a lot of trash, advertising disguised as friendly comments, and some downright nastiness.

I have seen each of those things right here, though not in such numbers.

Look at what you like.

Isn't that how we create our worldviews?
