| Joe,
Respectfully, he was not in public. He was in a hotel room--I think it was rude of his "friend" to take photos. I lived in a dormitory for 6 years. It is impossible to be fully clothed at all times. I bet the queen removes her clothes to shower etc.
No big deal in my book. |

| His friend should apologize.
These pictures were not made public in England. I don't think the USA should have aired them either. They are not newsworthy. Prince Harry has served in the armed forces and is deserving of better press.
The USA media is ridiculous. They look for trouble and even try to cause it. People with cellphones ought to use discretion as to what they photograph and release. This could/should be grounds for a lawsuit |

| If you want to worry about it, fine. I don't care what he did at his party in the privacy of his rented room, as long as he broke no laws.
How would you like for me to come to your house and start snapping photos? Maybe you didn't have your kitchen photo ready, but who cares, I put it on the'the front page of your local newspaper. I would not consider that a friendly action. |

| My final comment. Prince Harry is 27 years old. The Queen is his Grandmother. If I were she, I would never mention it--if he wishes to comment on it ,hear him out and let it go..... He does not need a parent now. Just me. |

| He did nothing disgraceful, in my view. If there is any disgrace it is with the media.
I don't know why people get so bent out of shape seeing someone in the nude. We were born in the nude. Nothing disgraceful about the human body. |

| Joe,
What was immoral? He had a few drinks and undressed in his private room. He is not married. As far as I can see the "immorality" was committed by the photographer:)

| People need to be appropriate. They don't need to photograph everything they see.
They further don't need to publish it all. |

It was not a royal act and I agree-- the photographer should be sued. |

| In the importance of events, the nudity of a rich prince ranks about .000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001 in my opinion. Who cares? Let him walk around naked all day and it does not bother me.
Love,
Betty |

| How do our British authors see this incident? |

| I can't speak for British authors. But this is an example of poor judgment that cannot be excused away. I agree that the picture taker should be sued for invasion of privacy. Of course, the prince may not have objected to the picture taking in which case the photo rightfully belongs to the picture taker and there is no invasion of privacy, and she/he is free to sell it or post it to the world forever.
We can shrug away it being "just about sex" when a married U.S. President performs sexual acts with an intern in the workplace, and when the third in line to the British throne behaves in a less culpable manner (he is not married, it was not an act done at work, and it was, in fact, just about sex/carousing/horseplay/whatever). I admire Harry and his brother and this does not change my opinion in a major way. If he were Harry the truck driver or Harry the college student at a fraternity party, that would be one thing. But I expect more from the royal family and my President, for that matter. |
