Request for positive energy

Please keep my wife, Gisela in your thoughts and prayers. She will be operated on tomorrow morning.
Double hernia and twisted intestines that has been causing her pain. Unable to eat well and much weight loss. She is naturally apprehensive and hungry this evening, but can’t have food due to the operation in the morning.
Thanks for the positive energy you will be sending.

Absolutely. May the physicians and hospital personnel be the absolute best for her care and may all that she needs be available plus the love and attention of those around her and those who hold you in their thoughts.

Many thoughts heading Gisela's way, and you too, Abe. My mother had the same operation years ago. The recovery is slow but sure. Hold that thought.

Definitely. About ten years ago, my mom had to undergo back surgery, and I know how scary it can be. She was in so much pain she could hardly breathe, every time she tried to move I had to cover my ears she screamed so loud, and I hope you wife isn't in similar pain.

Just got back from the hospsital. I had a long wait. She was still in recovery and I guessed that she had a tough time coming out of the Narkose, and that was the case.
I saw a nurse pushing a bed from the surgery and it was Gisela. I helped push the bed into her room. She was glad to see me, although still very groggy. She was connected to a drip that was for pain, but it also made her drousy. I had ordered a book for her and she had hoped that it arrived before she went into the hospital. It is a book that she had wanted for a long time. It came today and I took it with me. When she saw the book, she was very happy. Before I left she asked me to place it on the bed next to her. She intends to try and start reading it tonight, although I doubt she will get very far.
I talked to the surgeon and he says that everything went well.
Don't know yet how long she will be there. Hope to know more tomorrow.

Finished Ann's book, "Redstone's Valley" last night. I was disappointed that it ended. That means I'll be waiting for a sequel. I'll write a review soon.
I certainly can recommend this book.

When I visited her this morning, she was cheerful. She had requested a lower bed since she is short and found it difficult to get in and out. The nurse went to get another bed and said she was told that Gisela was going home tomorrow. That is great news, still not official, however it does reflect the positive energy that has been sent to her. It was expected that she would be hospitalized for about 10 days. This is extraordinary.

Picked my wife up from the hospital this morning at 10AM. She was packed and ready. When we got into the car, she began singing, "I'm coming home, I've done my time..." Don't know the name of that song, but believe it has something to do with a yellow ribbon tied to an old oak tree.
The first thing she wanted to do when we got home was to look at her garden. She was pleased, however it is not only too hot to work in it, but also she must not do any work. So, this is one time when I tell my wife what to do and she will obey. I insist.
