Dear Alice,

I went this day to find the lovely writing paper for your letter. It seems that lovely writing paper is not in high demand. I could not find even unlovely writing paper, not even a writing tablet!

I came home and looked on the internet for free lovely writing paper to print myself and found some 'stuff' and so the letter you will get from me will be on the 'stuff' but I will abide by the old rules of writing on lovely paper anyway.

Betty, Do you have a Marshall's near you? They nearly always have a section where beautiful blank books and lovely writing paper can be found, and quite cheap by bookstore standards.

Dear Ann,

25 miles in one direction is the Walmart, assorted grocery stores, stores that sell pipe, hardware and furniture.

25 miles in the other direction is a feed store, assorted grocery stores, a post office, banks, and a waffle house, a bob evans, a motel.

In between are farms. And me, of course.

I have a plan, though. Alice will get a letter on nice (to me) paper. I am not just another pretty face!
