| OUR CHANGING EARTH - (THE STORMS AND THE QUAKES) Nothing on this earth or within the Universe happens without there being a physical force causing it. Storms and quakes don’t happen by themselves - there is a physical force driving it. Our problem has been that orthodoxy has refused to look at the natural forces that drive earth’s systems. The question is, and has always been, what is the mechanism (what kind of engine is under the hood) that drives the weather? Is it heat like orthodoxy claims - or is it something far more powerful, far more regulated, and far more predictable? I opt for the latter - and I opt for the moon and it’s gravitational relationship with the earth that holds the moon in a gravitational tether that maintains its orbit and tugs at earth's respective fibers: the oceans, the atmosphere, and the electrical processes that go on within the earth. / |

| The entire universe is made up of energy.
Matter is energy. Wind is energy. Gravity is energy. Chi is energy.
And we are all connected. The connections are everywhere in nature: between humans, weather, the earth, the sun, moon, animals ...
Storms and quakes are natural occurrences, nature being herself. |

| Dear JoElle
Nothing in this universe is driven by energy. Energy has to be converted to a force before anything can happen.
By example, you can throw all the energy (of what ever form) at a bathroom scale. But nothing will happen until a force is applied - you can step on it, push on it, or use a hydraulic cylinder - all are forces and all will work.
Energy is defined in a physics book - it is the product of force times a distance.
Newton's second law expresses this :: f (force) = m (mass) times a (acceleration)
Notice that energy is not in that force equation.
Orthodoxy - through our schools has done a marvelous job of confusing the issue. A rule that straightens everything out is this: Only a force can produce motion, only a force can do work - nothing else works / |

| Are we gettting back to the cause of earthquakes?
Just curious, as usual. |

Right. Exactly. - James wrote:

Not the reason I homeschooled my kid, but thankfully it was an option. |

| Three of the greatest disasters of modern times are these:
The Hurricane Katrina that hit New Orleans
The earthquake and tsunami that hit Japan
The tornado that hit Joplin, Missouri
Hurricanes, earthquake, tsunami, and tornados.
It is about time that orthodoxy awakens to the need to look "under the hood," so to speak to see what engine is driving these natural events.
Does anyone know? Yes!
Then why isn’t anything being done? Because the answer goes against conventional "wisdom!" |

| James,
Excuse me, I am no scientist, but I don't 'think they are holding back the answer. They, along with you, do not know the exact cause and prevention tactic. Give us a break! |

James Why should you have a "break," so to speak while thousands are dead? |

| James,
I don't know why I am alive and others are not. I believe our life is sutained by God and thank Him for it.

| I see death and destruction - and I don't see solution
But I do see some throwing rocks in the path to hinder thought and action! |

Does anyone know? Yes!
Then why isn’t anything being done? ... While these recent events were great disasters, there have been great disasters since the earth's birth. The only thing driving these natural events is nature. Why isn't anything being done? Because nothing can be done. You can not fight earthquakes, tornadoes, or hurricanes ... nor should you. Going against nature has never been wise. We should try to live in harmony with nature, maybe get out of her way once in a while ... but not fight her. |

| JoElle,
In most cases I agree with you except when it comes to forest fires. I like those extinguished. |

| Slash fires and controlled burns can accomplish the same thing. |
