| No, I just know people who found for-pay editors in ads in the back of that magazine, and subsequently paid a lot of money for a worthless product. I also know people who took writing courses advertised there. While I'm sure it helped them, they're still unpublished. Why would a writing course advertised there be any better then one taken at a community college? And who evaluates if it's good or not? The evaluation comes if/when the writers gets published as a result of the course. |
