I'm creating an elegant Easter dinner, Lamb, small potatoes,
vegetable, dessert I haven't decided yet, wine. Oh the Nesco
Roaster is fantastic, made a pork Loin roast a few days ago
cooked it on 250 slow, it was awesome, it was tender as a
Filet Mignon steak....

Cheers..Joe

Easter is a little bit about church and a whole lot about food. I'll go to friends for dinner on Sunday. It's usually a noisy, boisterous but fun place to be, and my son doesn't come with me because he finds it too loud, so I'll do a nice dinner over the weekend just for him and I. Joe, the lamb sounds delicious, and I may just copy you. I love lamb, and there is a lamb baby boom going on here right now.
I've sent some nice little pastel outfits off to my granddaughter in Alberta. She'll look like an Easter basket when she gets all dressed up. flower

Hi Alice,

Wonderful it is. And he never complains about my cooking, even when it's an experiment gone wrong. Tonight he was very happy with roast been and Yorkshire pudding. Tomorrow I'll try to make into something yummy too.

I'm so out of cooking practice - I just don't think Easter meal. I'll start thinking in that direction; I doubt my son joins me - he doesn't believe in celebrating holidays.

Not sure yet. I know that Chris's parents will be at his brother's, helping with the services and enjoying their grandson.

I remember one Easter back during the 90's, when Chris told us that he and Todd had never hunted Easter eggs because it was always their job to get to the church early with their dad and hide the eggs, etc. for the church's hunt.

We all decided that it was time for Chris to have an egg hunt. He was pushing 30 at the time. So Mom, Susan and I spent that Saturday boiling and dying eggs, and Easter morning, Mom hid the eggs in the back yard. We had baskets for all the "children," and it was so fun to watch them all acting like children, scurrying around that yard and having pretend fights over who had the most or the best eggs.

It was a delightful way to begin the day's celebratio0ns.

Dear Ann,
That sounds so much fun that I think we will do that this year!

When they have found all the eggs, we will have an egg race on the front lawn.

lol!

Love,
Betty
