I never get any email from them. Yesterday, they banned me from their message board. I am getting the feeling they do not like me very much!

All I did was respond to Barbara Spring about the price of her books on Amazon and said that mine was not available new, only used at a high price. My contract is up November 4th this year. I will send them a certified letter that I do not wish to renew. I may have to ask one of you for their mailing address.

It is not a problem. I am not angry at them. I feel like Shelagh and you do. They were different in the old days when I was a new author. I doubt that even they could forsee the many peoples dreams they would hold in their hands this day.

I got your lovely card today. You do have my address correct. I am trying to get Donna King, the principal of Duette School, on the phone to tell her of your lovely book. I know she will be excited to read it to her classes. Keep the faith.

I think PA is about to fold. I am genuinely sorry to see it They have stopped publishing. The last books they put out were in December, 2010.

Every day since their discontinuation of their sales, I have received an extension of the sale and now today a "We forgot to tell you notice."

It is sad.

I would not like to see them fold. PA fulfills a goal for many people. I think quantity was a good idea to start, but they needed more quality filters along the way to beat the image baggage and a little less antagonistic communications with their authors and on the PAMB.

I think they will be hurt by the surge in ebook self-publishing, especially the Amazon family of services.

There are enough small presses now that polishing up your work to their level is a cut above PA. If the book has any sales potential for several hundred buyers, small presses have an interest.
