My sister-in-law as I stated earlier when she became a widow she picked herself up by the boot straps and went back to college and made a career for herself and her son. Her son today is a radiologist, I'm very proud of them both, not many women can do this, I have another sister-in-law who became a widow 6 years ago, she' still young 52, she whines, the only good thing they did when he was ill was to buy their home outright. I keep telling her go out and get a life but that falls on deaf ears.....
Joe,
Your sister-in-law may, very well , be depressed. Getting over the loss of her husband probably took her awhile. She is also considered old by the job market--what there is left of it. Perhaps a doctor could help her. Just a thought! |

Ann..
What I meant for her is to get a male friend, no disrespect for my dead brother but life goes on , you have to close one door and open a new one.
Alice..
She has gotten over it, stopped going to the cemetery and took off her wedding ring, but then again why do I ever give advice, I don't know, I guess I'm too kind..
Cheers..Joe |
