I have found a medium that has benefited me. It costs $15 for the smallest add (which is still noticeable and offers the viewer a chance to read the first chapter of the book and get information to purchase it). Bigger ads with more info cost more (monthly). It's First Chapters Plus by the owner of Reader Views. The October issue just came out. Take a look. After the first issue, I found my First Chapters Plus listing copied by all the online booksellers for their "review" section for my Ghost Orchid (including Borders).

I have no vested interest just sharing a promo that has been good for me and affordable at its smallest piece. Once listed, you are forever at the web site which also helps. It has a strong google presence as well.

I enjoyed the video by the way and saw at youtube you have a prospective author perhaps seeking publication...so, it's working a bit.
