Integration

We often hear about a group of people who wish to remain separate from the rest of society. They don’t want to integrate yet want the benefits society has to offer.

Right now in Germany, there is much controversy over a soon to be published book that exposes a group of immigrants who refuse to integrate. They refuse to learn the language in order to get a job and live off the benefits the country offers. An example is a family of five who receive 1,500 Euros (approx. $2,000) monthly from the government. The author is now under attack as a racist. They want him fired from his job, etc.
I find it amazing that when someone speaks truth that he/she is castigated. Being politically correct takes precedent.

I notice the "xenophobe" label has been applied to him. Of course. A newspaper columnist here screeches "xenophobe, "racist," and "nativist" about anyone who expresses concern about the millions of South Americans illegally entering here, telling us to understand that "they're just looking for a better life." Isn't that why EVERYONE migrates? She's quite clear in her thoughts that South Americans should be exempt from the requirement not to be a public charge. She also writes admiringly of parades where migrant marchers hold Mexican flags while demanding their rights here. Apparently you can only be a nativist and xenophobe if you're white.
