| This one really expresses the "perspective" I try to live by.
I don't always succeed, of course, but it's good to be reminded. I am a subscriber to this site; owner says it's OK to share occasionally, but if you want to see more, click the last page. There is good stuff there.

| Dear Ann, I could have used the daily motivator today.
I had the eye doctor appointment at 1:35. I started timing my departure early this morning so that all the house chores would be done the dogs would have eaten and had time to assimilate and poop, I would have time for a shower and try to not look like a cadaver, I could get gas for the car.
At 12:23 I went out and all my dogs were happy to go out, we walked around and they were into their own trails. so I came in to put on lip stick. That was a mistake.
Everyone came home except Jazzmin, whom I had to call and call for.
Here she comes! Tongue out and lolling happy, She crashed through the dog door and past my nose.
Good God, Almighty! What a stink!
I knew right away that she had found the remains of the rotted eggs from the last attempt at hatching. She had lolled and rolled and festuned herself. She was happy!
I was not.
I grabbed a towel and washed her down. No good. She could stop a train.
Off go my clothes, up she goes to the wash basin, shampooed and rinsed! Out she goes to the porch to dry!
At 5 minutes till one, off I drive. I was on time by three minutes.
............................
I left there at 2:30
Here it is, almost 6:15, and I can almost see.
I drove home blind as a bat.
I did look in and feed the chickens, who now have 19 eggs and one golf ball that they are in high expectations of hatching. Two chickens are doing this watch. I hope they can remain friends to the end.
Love, Betty |

| Betty,
It sounds as though you would have created a somewhat different reality if you could. Sometimes the reality of other people, animals, and rotten eggs can get in the way.

| Dear Ann, I see you holding in that laugh.
I am fine now. Jazzmin is biding time. She is a sneaky dog, will look like she is contrite and, when you are not looking, she will be out looking for the rotten eggs.
I am not just another pretty face!
I dug a hole and put them down where she will not find them.
Love, Betty |
