Alice,

Last month, members talked twice as much as they did in the previous month and a record was set for the number of new topics discussed throughout March. This month, the posting has fallen slightly but the daily average is much higher than in February.

When America elected a new President, the posts here dropped dramatically. The Prime Minister has just announced a May election in the UK. Maybe this will affect the UK postings.

I don't think one is afraid to talk, just being more cautious. It is clear that you like controversial subjects, and it does boost the ratings, but the downside is the ill will it can create. I like to see debates on subjects related to writing. On other matters, it should remain on the private board.

I came upon it a day or two after I joined this place. I'd been
googling "Writers Net Covario" tryng to find out if WN had returned (it
has), and found some of my quotes. Yikes!

If somebody from there is able to read what I just now wrote, I 'spect it

Would you also mind sharing how the advertisement of your book on the blog's "3,000+ daily viewers" has affected your sales? Have they jumped? Just asking -perhaps you discovered a new, valuable venue that we all should try.

I think we generated the sales. Billy put a review on the Review board. The outside traffic here has gone up considerably over the last two months.

I don't think that Alice is responsible for any current "I'll will." We all bring up topics that can lead to contention in one way or another. Alice is at least straightforward.
