Gone

I was just looking at the featured members and realized Rainbow, Dick and Lane are gone - any more I missed? Their contributions were valuable as are other members of this forum. I am sorry that this forum thing has become complicated.

Personally, I don't care if my words are quoted elsewhere; they are often picked up by the google search bots anyway. It's a form of flattery. Nothing on the Internet is private from my understanding.

I am here because I developed a desire to communicate with some of the members over the years and value their comments even when far different than mine. My thinking is challenged and I'm forced to weigh my words.

It's nice to have new members join. It's flattering to have people care about what we say and take an interest in our exchanges.

It's too bad that some people feel compelled to interfere with a positive enterprise. How about starting a chapter story for them to participate and concentrate their time on one thread? It might be a fun story in the end.

I was thinking that the making of a GREAT novel is in here somewhere. Alas, if only I were talented enough to write it.

I think we have to have rules......
You can't write two paragraphs in a row. You have to wait until two other paragraphs are written before you can have another turn. You can correct grammar of previous posters but you cannot change the substance of the paragraphs.

I started a story ages ago but it didn't get very far. I'll see if I can
find it and bump it up (I have quite a reputation for doing that!).
