The idea that they'd have to go to medical school in Britain to learn how to do breasts plants is hilarious. You can get it done in Tijuana for like a hundred bucks.

The tricky part is the detonator. Have to be non-metallic. Doubt that's covered in elective surgery courses.

Downright frightening! Fox news though--what does CNN and MSNBC think?

Should breast implants be allowed? Ain't that a bit 'unnatural'?

Are you aware that breast implants won't burn.
If you cremate a loved one with after-market accesories of this kind, you end up with a jar of ashes with two bags full of of pseudofat.

In Bangladesh, we say a woman is as beautiful as she was made of God.
Then you could say it's the same as wearing hair colour. It ain't natural but it makes your hair more beautiful..

I like hair color. Redheads age and look like scarecrows. The color helps make life much better.

This is not totally off topic - bear with me.

When my ex and I got married, I was dyeing my hair blond and wearing contacts. We had been married over a year when I threw caution to the winds and asked my hairdresser to dye my hair to match the roots. I was curious to know its natural color. I was born blond, but while I was in college it started shifting toward that dishwater color, so I started enhancing it. I was somewhat shocked with the results as they were very close to what you see in my avatar, minus the grey streaks. I was a little scared to go home, so I went to our across-the-street neighbors (the husband of the couple later turned out to be ex's divorce attorney - bummer) and when Bill got home, he saw his first image of his wife as a brunette in a safe zone. It was a good thing. He was not pleased. "I married a blond." he told me. That Christmas, one of my presents was a year of appointments with the local, and quite expensive, hair guru. One stipulation: on my first appointment, I had to have him dye my hair blond again.

Fast forward another year or two. I became a mother, and much of my time was taken up with my wonderful new daughter. I decided that it would take much less time in my crowded mornings if I simply picked up a pair of glasses and put them on than if I spent so much time cleaning, preparing, and inserting lenses. So I started wearing glasses.

That Christmas my main present was a coupon for the prescription and a year's supply of the then new soft lenses. I decided it would be a good idea to have it filled.

Oh, well. For all my efforts, the marriage didn't last.

A year of so after the divorce, my kids told me that their dad had given his new wife a Christmas present ( And, ta-daa) which leads us in the direction of the validity of this post here - her present was a boob job!!

I felt this huge sigh of relief for having, at least, had adequate boobs.

I mused to my children that if their dad and stepmom were ever to divorce, I wasn't sure who would get custody of the results, their being community property, so to speak. My children told me that my musings were beneath me. OK. He was their dad, after all. I backed off.

Fast forward to right now. The poor woman had to cancel the birthday plans for our granddaughter this month to undergo her third surgery to correct leakage from that wonderful gift.

Thank God all he wanted from me was blond hair and 20/20 vision!

Finally - my point: Boob jobs are NOT a good thing, no matter what the purpose might be.

Dear Ann,
I was married to a man like that. He had an idea of somebody he wished he was married to and she should be from England, which I was not. All through our marriage, if someone was from England, it did not matter if she had 14 children, fat and bald, she was better than me. (God knows what he would have done for our Shelagh!)

All the time I lived with him I felt that I did not live up to something. I was not sure what it was, but he made me feel so small and inferior.

In the end, he claimed as his own, his old army buddy's wife, who was from England. Now he is happy. She is happy. Her ex is probably better off without her and I know I am better off without him.

My David is a nice person. So am I. We get along and love each other, most of the time.
