| SPAM messages are being sent from my email address. It happened about 3 weeks ago and than again today. They use my list of email addresses and the message is a website that sells Viagra among other things.
I wouldn’t have known about it if my daughter had not been on the receiving list. I sent a message to the same people emailed explaining that it did not come from me.
How can I get rid of this? Any ideas? |

| Have you run a antivirus scan? You may have an Adware infection on your system. |

| In the past several days, I have upgraded, downloaded, run system scans, etc. I run virus scans everyday. Thanks for the suggestion, however. It could be a virus that is still undetected. |

| When you get them they can hide very well these days. I had one a few years back that was only activated when I went to use the Restore function in Windows to back up my system. Lost eveything in a blink. |

| This seems like a common thing Abe. I have received spam e-mails from several people whom I know to be of character not to send spam e-mails.
The internet can be a very confusing place indeed. |

http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php
It will run alongside your Antivirus program.
Give it a try I have it on my system its quit a thorough scanner. |

| Thanks David, I've downloaded it. In the meanwhile, I deleted all the addresses in my addressbook. Now I'll have to check my SPAM folder daily to make sure I receive emails I want to receive. |
