| That's just silly. Nobody's going to boycott amazon.
That's the same sort of non-action that causes idiot governments to slap "sanctions" on dictatorships so the people can starve and the dictators keep themselves in caviar by selling off their nukes and recources. It has NEVER worked.
It's the "let's put a bell in the cat" theory.
This requires some thought, and that concept didn't. |

| Amazon was the only place where I bought books. Notice I use the word was.
I won't be signing any petition. I just won't buy from there again. |

| I don't carry signs. I don't sign petitions. I don't believe in sanctions and I don't believe in war. What I see here is someone wanting to start a war and trying to get a coalition of people to support their war. I'm like Karina. I decide if I want to use a source or not. The silent voice of "not doing something" carries more weight than a lot of yelling. For people in business, money talks. |

My thoughts exactly. |

| You folks do have a good point -simply avoiding buying where we bought previously can have an impact, but rarely gets to the big guys; just look at Walmart. And the benefits of mudslinging / banner waving and protesting cannot be over stated, for the slinger that is...there are some days when I just want to [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]...but I only want to. Although I look like I am usually smiling and hugging everybody there are days... |

| Pam, with a smile like yours, who would think of punching you back? Or is the smile a cover? |

| Lol Abe, the smile is real, although to be honest it has saved my bacon once or twice... |

| Uuuuuh, this whole Amazon doesn't have anything to do with my novels ... and my family, friends, and friends and family of my family and friends all have preordered my novels through Amazon. Sorry, I can't jump on this bandwagon without shooting myself in the foot. Huh? |

| I have found that petitions do little or nothing. And one never knows if the current status will hurt or help us. |

| However, I must add that since they removed the 'buy' button, I have removed their link from my sites! The prices from their 'other sellers' are exorbitant and cost prohibitive. |

| It's been a month now and I just can't get this image out of my mind: the Forest Elf leaping on the bandwagon and at the same time shooting herself in the foot. I wish you wouldn't say things like that, Jo Elle. |
