Makes sense. But they can change that at any time, can't they?

I can't figure that site out, myself, but haven't had anything there tick me off.

They seem to be kind of desparately pumping participation lately: every week I get a notice or two saying to post something on some topic or start a blog or respond to some odd contest.

One thing I'd like to know, did all those award-winning writers sign up there, or did they just make pages for them? And if so, if the writers like Maya Angelow and Ishmael Reed and all those have anything so say in the matter.

I don't know. You don't see any blogs written by Barack Obama. They didn't tick me off. I just couldn't see any advantage in being there. Surely, that's the point. If members here don't see any point in being here, they leave. I don't have a problem with that. They can delete as much information as they like and change their username to conceal their identity. Instead they shout and scream at me as though I am at their beck and call to tidy up after them like helpless children.

I know Lane and he clashed. He and E. Don and even Dick didn't agree with him

I've been invited to visit/join other sites where the waters are better. Better in whose eyes? When I'm told the list of characters, I figure it's only a matter of time before the waters become muddy.

I also changed my name to keep in sync with the other writing forums I am on. Easier to point and say, "That's me".
