| Sue. I have downloaded it, but for some reason I can't copy and paste the logo, so I copied the image location.
Any ideas? |

| Yes, the logo is working now. Very slick. Just remember that if you use it on anything that does not have the same background it will not blend very well. That is why so many companies have a black and white line logo so that it blends to whatever the background is. |

| Here is the banner my daughter made for my blog. Took her about 20 minutes using photoshop and two files I purchased through istock. I'd copy it in but she managed to safeguard it well and I cannot lift the header off the page...but it's at the top of my blog if you click the link in my signature. I am getting her to work on a couple of other projects for me now too. |

| I am looking to make a banner for my website, Reboot Your Lifeā¢. I don't have the logo made yet or the heading. What I am looking for in a logo is the word Re with a western boot at the lower edge of the word 'Re' aimed as tho it were kicking the stacked words Your Life. Purple is my accent color but thought a transparent heading or logo would be best. I have no idea. Any ideas from anyone on how to attain what I am looking for? Or how to do it? |

| My only advice Sue is to be careful to purchase use of the pics that you use, even if you are playing with the in something like Photoshop. That one my daughter did for my blog cost me about $30 plus her 20 minutes. Well worth it so no one is denyed their art royalties and you do not encounter any copyright issues. If you know what you want, you could locate a student pretty easily who can help you out...mine included. Happy designing! |

| Sue it's best if he actually creates a digital picture rather than scanning one in. As soon as you start scanning and manipulating, things can get really pixelated (i.e. they show up as a lot of dots or have really jagged outlines). When your husband starts playing with it in photoshop, it will allow him to select any size that you want. I would suggest something that is no larger than 8 x 3 inches so that he has sufficient space to work and play in. Once it is perfect, then you only need to shrink it down to about a 3 inch by 1 1/2 inch banner. Keep copies of both sizes and you can use it on everything from you letterhead to business cards. Is your husband pretty computer savvy? He'll need to keep the file sizes quite small (certainly under 1 MG), and the smaller they are the easier they load on different pages on the net. If he can reduce the file size to keep it around 250 k, then when you post it on forums like this one, or on your blog and all over, it's a little file with big impact. Large files take a long time to load on a page and when people are kept waiting to see your pic, they tend to simply click to a different page altogether. Hope that's helpful. |

| Limiting the size is good advice, Pam. I know that when I go to a page that is too graphics intense, I usually just close the window or go somewhere else, due to the time it takes for the page to load. |
