that's some article. It is actually a bit too much. I lost interest half way through and skimmed the rest. What I gathered from it was that things in the publishing industry are pretty screwed up and it's going to get worse.

I think that the big guys are hurting themselves. It is also the reason that small houses are doing better.

Hollywood went the same way. Actors became independent, and took charge of their own talent.

I don't believe things will get better...nor do I know what should be done. As for me; I will keep writing. I think we missed the golden age.

But, I'm still going for a New York Publisher.

What the hell...it's all vanity.
