It is my time

I am a Vampire sapien

I hunger

I thirst

I am not romantic nor noble

I am like the lion

I stalk like a leopard

I smell humans in the air

I detect one lagging behind

I have an opening

I strike with ruthless effeciency

I clamp my fangs down over her windpipe

I feel her body going limp

I see eyes glowing in the distance

I know it is Mumfaso, the male lion

I hear his rumble

I recognize his yielding of the kill

I will hunt with him another day

I will leave the carcass to his discretion

I feed

I am a Vampire sapien

Wonderful, DT! I've always preferred the scary vampires to the romantic ones.

I like to write in multiple genres. Time is the problem. Without writing as a full-time vocation, I can only devote so much time to create. After the nonfiction Tarp Town U S A, I plan to delve into something unrestrained.
