Writing can be challenging, but the reward is worth it. I mean the reward of someone reading. Reading strengthens and broadens the mind. If we were not writing, people would not be reading. I'm talking about all people who write. It takes all kinds of books to entertain and educate all types of readers. I like to read fiction primarily and my brother prefers non-fiction. We both read a lot. If what you have written is read by only one person, even if the end result wasn't what you'd hoped for, you have done a good thing. For when you write a manuscript and turn it into a book you provide an avenue for someone to increase their comprehension through reading. I say to all who have taken on this challenge, keep writing and think about the influence you could have.

Nice thoughts. My first concern is having a positive effect on editors as they are the ones that matter most.
