| Okay...novel two...same series...
From the cover blurb...
With the arrival of a new generation of the Davis-Lewis family, and the opening of an upscale day spa, confidence is finally returning to the small Florida town of Chattahoochee. The triumph over the vicious hate crime that crippled Jake Witherspoon has become a subtle right of passage, hardly mentioned in the day to day hustle and bustle of birthdays and business plans. People are smiling again, the evening news happens to someone else, and the gossip under the Triple C's hair-dryers is finally getting good.
Yet, before Piddie's last batch of Cathead biscuits has a chance to cool, something new is crawling through the tall grass. A prominent citizen is hiding a dirty little secret; one that will shake the community to its roots and leave a legacy of doubt and mistrust that may never heal.
Return with us to Chattahoochee, where Southern hospitality, strong family ties, and small town values collide with the darkest side of human nature in a story told with unflappable Southern charm. ---- |

| Sounds great, Rhett! I love the title, too. Is it in reference to a physical location? |

| Hi, pol and zada. The title came from an interesting saying from one of my older friends...having to do with "what goes around, comes around"--I also used the saying in the book. "Nothing slides down the devil's back that doesn't turn right back around and go up his belly. And, when it does, it bites hard." Love those southernisms... Pol, I used Microsoft Frontpage software to create the site, then GoDaddy for webhosting. I obtained the domain name from them as well. I have been pleased, so far. They support my software, so I can make regular changes as needed to the website. Eventually, I want to revamp the site with my own pictures, graphics, but for now I am using one of the templates that came with FrontPage. Rhett |

| Rhett,
I echo what pol and Zada said. Your plot sounds intriquing...I can see my credit card having another workout buying all these books! |

| I love the saying, Rhett. In fact, I will remember it as an alternative to 'what goes around, comes around!' It definitely has more bite!! |

| Great phrases! I actually have seen a book here about local sayings and I think it's going on to my wish list. They not only make writing a bit more fun, but they are great to pull out of your pocket at any time. One of my favourites is instead of "running around like a chicken with its head cut off" my friend says "like a fart in a mitten". |

| I collect southern sayings, too, Pam. Another of my all-time favs pertains to the way a rather ample-bottomed female looks when walking away. I see the humor in this... "When she walked away, it looked like two pigs fighting in a croaker sack." |

| Rhett--is a 'croaker sack' the same as a gunny sack? |

| Love croaker sack! I even googled it and confirmed it is made of burlap, also called a gunny sack. Likely called croaker sack when used to collect a bunch of croakers! Love it. This evening I will be burning the midnight oil and making a deadline. The only company on TV is an awful Schwarzenegger movie called Predator. Normally I love his stuff, but this one is sooo bad it's almost funny. |

| I always thought that elves would have cute lil toes. Do they really have big toes? I ask only because I think the world ought to know. |
