Hi everyone! I found this site when googling info. The topic was so helpful I thought to join and peek around at all the wealth of info here. Btw--I love the smilie choices!

Introduce...yes, well--My name is Christy Condoleo but I usually just use Eppy when I register at a site. I've writen two children's picture books, one juvenile novel (finishing up), and one just plain fiction (it's a collection of a few short stories) that is geared more toward adults. Despite that one, I'm mostly a fantasy nut.

Of course the writing is accomplished in my wee amount of spare time. I work part-time and I'm a mum so there is no sitting still for me unless it is to go to sleep. I also help fund my publishing fees by selling handmade earrings so I'm also a crafter.

My first book was published through Xlibris, so basically they did all the putting together but now I do my publishing through Lulu.com so now I put it all together (and what a headache it can be sometimes). I'm not an expert on promotion/marketing but I'm quickly learning. I've had a few book signings, reading at schools, and set up at a few festivals but nothing overly grand. I love designing/making my own promotional giveaway materials (I use VistaPrint, Oriental Trading, and a few of my own creations)--so if you ever want to exchange ideas, just send me a message.

Thanks JoElle! I'll see how to add you as a friend--a few months ago, I learned about the groups (is that it?) that they have and applied to several. I'm very grateful for Webs since they have templates and it's so easy to set up. I once thought about learning to make my own but that was a bit too ambitious (in regards of time) for me--I do know some coding but only enough for bits and pieces and not the whole puzzle.
