Am I missing something, or is another thread missing?

Aside from being the rudest person here, apparently I am also one of them most absent minded.

I could have sworn I made a post about an hour ago, in a thread with a handful of other posts, but for some reason I'm having a problem finding it now.

Was it real, or just another senior moment?

What about going to your member listing and look up your threads and posts? I had to do that to find mine once - forgot if I had posted - and I refuse to categorize it as a senior moment. In Florida, I am "middle age." I remember moving from Florida to Idaho and looking around a restaurant and thinking it looked strange - the predominant hair color wasn't gray! The place was filled with children! I'm staying in Florida where I'm quite young, thank you. The reader at church is still driving in the Lincoln and is at least 35 years older than me.

Tried that, DK, and sure enough, the post was conspicious in it's absence.

Mel, it was over my head too. Who can we find to explain it?

You must be having a blank stare moment. I didn't leave, I just began choosing my threads and responses a bit more carefully. Think I posted that in the thread in question. Maybe you should have read it before you hit the delete button.

Many of us, (at least me, Don H and our dogs), didn't see this before it was deleted. Fair enough.

Well, I didn't see this post until just now, but I'm up for a discussion of some sorts.

At the risk of beginning a no-no topic, how about the recent "Tea Parties" that the Republicans have been staging to draw attention to what they say is big government and increased spending, and I say is nothing more than an excuse to slam Obama, and to begin trying to lay the groundwork for the mid term elections of 2010 and the next Presidential election of 2012. (OK, I edited this just for you Brew)

Before anyone posts, please understand that I am very much a middle of the road liberal, and think the last two Bushes, along with Ronald Reagan, are probably the worst Presidents the country has ever had, at least so far as working men and women are concerned.

So Mel, or anyone else, I'm willing to post if you're willing to discuss politics.

Or maybe we can discuss chick flicks that make everyone feel warm and fuzzy.

I liked Pretty Woman and the Fantastic Four, but didn't care for The Notebook or Hellboy II.
