| Should anyone care to read the latest Jack Eddy story, it will be available in early April. You may find a copy at a newstand or some chain book stores or by ordering from Dell. The story is easier to find because it's the first one in the magazine. Here's the hook: I heard yelling behind me so I turned to look and saw a little runt being chased along the Main Street sidewalk by a beefy character, a King Kong without fur. People were leaping aside, some shouting in protest, while the little guy was crying out, “Please, Wally, please have mercy! For God’s sake, Wally, have mercy!”

| This was such a hot news flash that I posted it twice, then deleted this one. I have nothing more to say except . . . never mind.

| Very cool! So, do you frame or otherwise display such covers? |

| No. A few are posted on my website, though. There is one strange thing about this story: it was written 14 months ago and that was before anyone heard of Bernard Madoff. As it centers on a ponzi scheme, some people will think the idea came from his story. |

| I think it's great if they think it came from Madoff. Whatever gives the story hype............I never worry about a story's inspiration; I enjoy a good story for itself. |

| Looks like a good story, Dick. I think you should frame the covers and line your hallway with them. |

| Only with the sexy ones. This one, Step Into My Parlor, was about a preacher. What would it have been like if it featured a dance hall girl? |

| I'll be looking for a copy. Probably have to venture closer to L.A. or Newport Beach for larger chain stores. Our locals are smaller and don't carry as many magazine titles. A subscription seems to be the only way to get copies from the publisher. Not really a bad idea since they obviously publish the right stuff. Congrats on your stories. Susan |
