| I hope we have not lost him to Absolute Write. I checked on him and he has not signed in here since Friday.
I hope all is well with him. |

| E. Don,
I hope you are right.
In as much as we are heading to Michigan to visit the grandkids, I ordered Macy's best "unmentionables" on line--should have told him that --could have saved him a lot of trouble. |

| Dear Dick, I have lost the trails of thoughts so many times and looked for the place that the last thought was placed and not found it. I do hope you are well, and Sophie and Jackie are smiling on you. I wanted to tell you that I am reading the Orient Express with a new eye, thanks to you and Lovesamy. I know who did it, and now I am discovering how it is put into words as a mystery. I have also discovered this weekend, that what a person does is never really comprehended by anyone else. The time, the effort, the thought, and so, I think that a person who solves mysteries must just take the time to see and cogitate. Like Poirot, use the little grey cells before putting it into writing or blabbing it out. For instance, a small, small instance. Blue jay feathers are under my cart. It is obvious that there was a bluejay not there, the feathers are there. 16 to be exact. ( I picked some up and put them in my feather jar of beautiful feathers I find). Later today, a brindle cat slunk up toward the front yard feeders and lay low....a yellow tabby crept under the picnic table and watchted the ditch crossover feeders. A small grey cat hid in the bulrushes. Jazzmin had to pee. She flew out the dog door and (as is her usual exit, barked her butt off and scared everyone who was in 30 feet of the porch. She smiled, did her business, and high fived Sarah on the way back in.. She never saw one cat. The cats smiled and twitched their tails ever so lightly waiting there in the gloom and weeds. Why so many cats for one bluejay............... Love, Betty |

| I've been here all the time. My computer was not. It is now back from the repair shop and working faster and better.
Betty, that was a sad story about the blue jay. If there was any doubt, now you know why I hate cats. They kill for pleasure, not food, and few if any animals do that. I am glad you are reading Agatha. Hope it steers you on the right course. |

| Welcome back Dick! Even I missed you. (This weekend, Ireland won the grand slam for the first time in sixty-one years. It was awesome!) |
