I had never heard of it, I must have my head in the sand. Anyone here know about it?

Publishers Weekly has two articles about Scribd. It seems there are concerns about copyright infringement. Some are saying it's a great promotional tool and socializing arena, but it is being watched closely by several organizations such as Authors Guild. Here are the stories:
