| How do you want to be remembered?
I don't want to be remembered as that old lady with Parkinson's disease. Often on meeting new people I will say, " I am a Robot!" My husband will say you should tell them you have, " Parkinson's disease."
I say, "I am not a fan of the disease--its a bore-- being a Robot is far more interesting. Its my disease I will announce it as I wish."
Funny thing, before my triple coronary by-pass, the surgeon came and asked , '"'are you able to walk?"
I said, 'Yes , I' ll show you " I jumped out of bed grabbed my IV tube and went down the hall and he was trailing behind me.
"I will have you know I have nearly climbed Mt Rainier. " "I have climbed Ben Nevis."
"Where is Ben Nevis?" He asked.
"It is in Scotland and is the highest mountain in the UK." I answered.
I wish you could have had as much fun as I had in the hospital--we laughed ourselves silly over everything. I want to be remembered as someone who had fun.
Ann inspired me her brother died of lockjaw--a terrible way to go and an awful thing to lose a sibling.
She is not known for this. She has shown me the way.

| I learned at a young age that it is best to keep anyone from remembering your name. That's how I hope not to be remembered. |

| He is a war hero--a Normandy survivor, an author a riveting writer, a newspaperman.
He hates Christmas and BROCOLLI, loves Jackie loathes cats and is funny. His name is--he didn't want me to remember so I forgot it.
It is Something.. Stodghill? Anything he writes about becomes very interesting--because he looks at it differently. He can write about having his toenails trimmed and will have you dying to read more. A MOST AMAZING MAN!

| I mostly want to be remembered for being Lynn's, Susan's, and David's mom. Now I add Chris's, Jimmy's, and Lyn's mom-in-law, and soon, Jennifer's Grannie Annie. That's cool. Grannie Annie |

| I would like to be remembered as the tough old bat who never gave up, who loved mightily to make up for the lack of love so many have known, and as a person who appreciated the life I was given even though some begrudged me of it.
I will remember you all, that is for sure. You have, each and every, added mirth, love, friendship and understanding, not to mention, hope to my life. Love, Betty |

And the one who flunked DYING 101 flatter than a flitter. When made to retake it, still found it totally uncomprehensibile. For some reason--unable to get the hang of it. |

| I would hope to be remembered as someone who gave better than she got. As having touched others and given hopes of peace joy and happiness. Nothing gives me more pleasure than being able to help another through an experience I have had. Even if they forget my name. |
