| If you suddenly had an oppurtunity to make one change to your book or books what would it be? The sky is the limit but only allowed one change per book, it can also be about yourself if you want to be more personal. Should make for some interesting reading. |

| If I could I'd get my book, Of Orbs and Lords, illustrated. Unfortunately, I don't have the time or the money. I'd also like to get the sequel to Of Orbs and Lords that's been sitting on my desk almost a year published (actually sequel is sort of a misnomer, because it actually tells the back story to Of Orbs and Lords). |

| On a book that has my picture on the cover I would look like Robert Redford thirty years ago. |

| On the cover of any one of my books, I would like to see the words: No. 1 Bestseller. Three little words. It's not asking a lot, is it? |

Three little words. It's not asking a lot, is it? I would be satisfied with #10 |

| "It's not asking a lot, is it?" How many times I've heard those words and in every case it was asking a lot. |

| Forest Elf: You are one of the lucky ones. Alice: I'd settle foe 100th. Dick Redford: If I could turn back time. Shelagh: You are number one in my book. Gordon: Who knows what the future holds. As for me I learned a lesson when Daddy's Game was published. All of the work I put into my first book and the thrill of getting it published had me excited. As a newbie to the business all I could think of was seeing my book published. Looking back my wish would have been to take my time and properly edit the book. Live and learn right Dick Redford. |

| Nutter, I would have it professionally edited. |

| One thing I would definitely change--I would have started much sooner. Like 20 or 30 years ago! |

| I think I was too intent on proving my premise, by referring to my sources as often as I did. I think the book's narrative would have been more effective if I had used a simpler means of validating my sources, and the narrator's voice would have been more authoritative. My first queries were sent to university presses which required the format I used, but once I started looking to other venues, I could have changed that. Ann |

| Ann, you're an honest person. Self critique with admission of error is rare. |

I hadn't thought of that. Yes, I'd have liked to have started years back. |

.... Just because I wouldn't change a thing doesn't mean I didn't make mistakes. It doesn't mean things went the way I wanted. It certainly doesn't mean I'm lucky. It just means I wouldn't change what I did. I learned from the experience and I continue to move forward. I don't have regrets. I have life lessons and new knowledge with which to work. |

| When I wrote Keechie I had no idea of the limitations of writing in first person pov. In fact, I had no idea of most anything about writing a book - except from what I learned by reading a lot. Had I known then that there was to be a second book in the saga (which I wrote in third person) I would have written Keechie in third also.
I may have even combined the two books into one! |
