Follow-up hospital report Empty
PostSubject: Follow-up hospital report   Follow-up hospital report EmptyWed Aug 26, 2015 9:25 am

I promised a follow-up report and here it is:

Just returned from the University Clinic in Heidelberg.  The University Clinic is a huge complex with many buildings.  Finding the right building was the biggest challenge along with finding a place to park.
It was a nice sunny and pleasant day.  People sitting on benches, I assume many were students, reading/studying or whatever and having refreshment, much like one would see on a typical college campus.

It is a teaching hospital/clinic.  The department I went to specializes in Aneurysma.
The Doctor I spoke with reviewed the documents I had with me including the CT report.  After examination, she explained the difference between Descendens and Ascendens Aneurysma.  What mine shows is Descendens and it is just 3,8 cm.  Descendens is from the heart while Ascendens is toward the heart.  The Clinic doesn’t perform the operation until the aneurysm is at least 5,0cm or 5,5cm.   The Doctor wrote a report for my family Doctor and suggests that I be examined by a local Cardiologist along with regularly scheduled check-ups on the status of the aneurysm.  She said that my Doctor will provide further information and treatment as needed.

I’m happy to be home and that I’m in no immediate danger.  I must admit that I had much apprehension going there today.  I know that we will all die, it is just a question of when, where and how.   So, like it or not, I will around a bit longer to pester you with my posts.

That's great news ! Now relax, take it easy, I know from my experiences
fear is an awful thing but I taught myself years ago, go to the Dr. hear what he has to
say, mull it over in my brain then I and only I can make the right decision and it works
   every time ..........

                                                       Cheers....Joe........... Very Happy

Abe,

What a relief.   An answer to prayer too.  Stay here a long time.  We need your good humor too.

As Jackie Gleason would say:  "You're the greatest".  (All of you)

Dear Abe, What a scare!  I am so happy that medicine today has solutions.  You cannot go to another realm.  Like Alice says, YOU ARE the greatest. You know I love you.
Love,
Betty

Our little club has become small enough! Glad your report is okay though reason to stay in touch with your physician.
