They predict for the east coast from New Jersey all the way to Canada a mjor Nor Easter 3 feet of snow, winds 65 MPH...Glad I'm not there ! Now NY has seen major snow storms before there's a famous one " The Blizzard Of 1888," Read on..

Me too ! We only had a small snow storm here in Santa Fe 4 " the last time we had a big storm was 6 yrs ago and it was 2 feet..

| My son and his family are there. Their home in Northern New Jersey is just south of NYC. Dave said Sunday that they were "hole-ing up." No school, of course, so nobody has to leave the house. They did all the emergency shopping over the weekend and are as ready as they can be.
A few extra thoughts sent in their direction would be nice.

| The weather reports are calling this an "historic" storm, and comparing it to the one in your article, Joe. I also noticed a reference to the Great Hurricane. With Sandy a few years ago, and now this blizzard, it looks like the northeast is getting some very extreme weather. |
