Anyone who has my first publication of the Wooffer book has seen my dismal attempt to illustrate my stories.
I wonder if anyone has a suggestion for classes that could teach me to draw what my mind sees.
Love,
Betty

My other question is, is that kind of rustic sketching good enough to illustrate.

no one need answer.  I know it is not.

And if you want a class, Florida Gulf Coast University has a continuing education program for adults who just want short courses called Renaissance Academy.  There may be similar classes in your area through continued education at high schools or colleges.  Worse case, I imagine there are online classes to teach drawing too.  In the online materials for teachers there might be some things to that are free for them to use to teach their students.  good luck

Betty,

You will find a stack of line drawings that you can download and colour here:

http://www.raisingourkids.com/coloring-pages/animal/

If you use a light box (you can make one by placing a sheet of glass over a light source), you can use coloured crayons, paint, felt tip pens to produce drawings without outlines. Place a clean sheet of paper over the line drawing onto the glass surface. The light will shine through the paper showing the outline. Use the coloured medium to fill in the drawing. If you use paint, mix off-white and trace the outline with a fine sable brush. Turn off the light and move the outlined image to a work surface to complete the painting.

Cheap light box: http://www.instructables.com/id/Cheap-Light-Box-for-drawing-or-inking-or.../

This is the process: http://sassyfrasscircus.wordpress.com/2013/05/11/grumpy-winged-kitten-princess/

Dear Shelagh,
I am sorry for my late reply.  Once again, you have given me the information I needed.  I will do it.  I will post my results.
I am in hot pursuit of vegetable markets at the moment.  I do intend that my produce efforts will produce positive results.  I have 44 vegetable to market.  I hope that 104 yellow squash plants are enough. hahah.  Squash is a produce producer.  I have prayed for hungry goats in the past.

  Love, Betty
