One Percenter's Prayer

Our Dollar should read: “In Greed We Trust”
 
The One Percenter’s Prayer:
 
Our Dollar which art in Banks, hallowed be thy name.
Thy Kingdom come, our will be done,
On Earth as it is our Heaven.
Give us this day, our daily profits
And forgive us our debts as we sue our debtors
Lead us not into leniency, but deliver us from charity,
For thine is our Kingdom, our Power, and our Glory forever.
Amen

Sad, isn't it?  And it was so much easier when I believed in hell, purgatory and heaven.  At least then the good inherited the earth.  Now, we are all here together and must observe how things are going with no way to change them.

My minister talked about the soul today and evolution - that humankind is really developing more senses that lead to the possibility of a kinder and more compassionate world but the negatives are just so loud we miss the roar of change for good.  He posited that the evolution of the brain is in a positive direction overall.  It's just that things get really  bad before the improvement shows.
