| What on earth did he say? The news reports over and over again that he made racial slurs. He says he was speaking in private and is not racially prejudiced. He stands to make money from all of this, what gives? It is almost funny. |

| Where are his free speech rights here? He is supposedly demented also. If what he said was so horrific, why was it recorded ? I am almost on his side here. |

| DK, knowing that there is so much snooping going on, privacy no longer exists. Surveillance cameras are numerous. I don’t know if or how it works, but hear that we are tracked by posts we make on the INet. There are times when I feel the urge to do a test to see if they are watching me by making a post that would get their attention. On the other hand, I don’t want the attention or aggravation that could cause. From what I hear, Sterling’s girlfriend made the recording and revealed it. Some friend! She must have had some motivation to do this. What anyone says in private should remain private. IMV, the one who publicizes private matters is the bad guy/girl. In any event, our opinions are based on limited information and are for the most part invalid. Same is true with the prisoner exchange thing. We don’t know all the details and what is known may be politically motivated. We are too eager to judge or jump to conclusions. |

| I get the feeling that the recordings were a "last straw." The man's bigotry had been long known, along with his treatment of the players on his team, and unfair practices toward his tenants in an apartment complex. The recordings provided proof of what was suspected all along. |

I record all you private conversations...the one's were you're talking to yourself. Those are the best. Lets see...what shall I do with them...hmmmmmm? |

| I could put a word in here, take one out there...just like the reporters do:
D. K. Christi felt the suns heat. It was hot. She stripped leaves to make shade. The other side of the Island was naked of vegetation. She knew the men were not watching her.
Christi was hot. She stripped naked. She knew the men were watching her.
Is that not how they write stories? |

| Back to Donald Sterling, it seems that there is a positive note in the whole thing: Racism is an evil that will no longer be tolerated. It has been coming to the forefront recently, especially since Obama's election, through a minority of people who have not let go of it, and is being recognized for what it is. The general public has moved beyond, and will no longer tolerate it. |

| Times are slowly changing. However, so is the demographic makeup of the U.S. It's time to get on board with diversity and the intelligent decision-making for how one thinks and speaks or miss the train. |

| Put the word Racism aside. People think some how man will work out all his hates. The word Racism, is truly the word, "Ism." if people ever get beyond color, which I don't think they will, they will find a new Ism. Ism of class, Ism of education, ism of location, Ism between the rich, and the poor, Ism of religion. I once worked with a man who was an alcoholic. I wanted to help him, so I talked to one of the leading guys at the local AA. Here is what he told me. “Alcoholics are, Aholics. If they stop drinking, they will do something else to excess. They will always do something to excess. They are Aholics.” It is the same with Ism's. If they stop being raciest, They will just find a new Ism. You can change the law, but you can't change the heart. Man is shoveling shit against the tide. Man can not change how people are. What you think is right, the other fellow thinks is wrong. Laws never change peoples heart condition.
Suppose this could be done: "All people were the same color...GREEN. Here is what would happen. "All the light green get in the front of the bus, and all the dark green to the back." If you don't believe this, look at the different Ism's on this forum? |
