I'm always a little suspect of anything I read on the internet, good or bad. The letters do seem authentic. I believe that most of our representatives in the administration and in Congress are pretty decent in their heart of hearts. They are just heavily influenced by power and money - the very power and money that keeps them employed.

The Golden Rule seems to be interpreted sometimes as applying only to the select few in one's own special group - and not to all people.

I think both letters are wonderful. I just know that even good things on the internet might not be authentic.

Thank you Joe and Shelagh for bringing such a bright spot into my evening. Sorry I was such a skeptic regarding the Internet - but I will continue in that way. This, however, is sure a special experience all around.
