Our house sold and we are moving. We found the perfect spot in Hollywood. My book has turned into a movie and they are letting me be the star.

You have my greatest respect because law was my favorite class in college.
but, my brother is an unfortunate Viet Nam era vet. He is mentally disturbed and so, of course,
refuses any help.

I hope you succeed in getting your wife to publish--think of the possibilities--if only folks will confuse me with her, then maybe my books will take off. They have smoldered long enough. Very Happy

The wounds of that tragic war will never be healed. I hope your brother can find peace. The pain of returning from hell to a country that did not appreciate the sacrifice is something I cannot fathom. My heart, and my gratitude for his service, go out to him.

I think you're doing just fine as a best selling author, something neither my wife nor I are ever likely to achieve (to say nothing of an honest to goodness Hollywood celeb). My wife does not much care for her name as she thinks it plain, though to me it is the sweetest sound in any language.

We did, but it was so much fun. The thing that gave it away wasn't the film stardom ... it was the selling of your house. I knew you would never do that.

Hey, If I paid people to buy my books I would not be a best selling author! (Well, I guess it depends on how much I paid them . . .) As to the selling of the house and moving to Hollywood, I thought I saw a tongue firmly planted in cheek but HOPED I was wrong. My Alice will tell you that every day is April 1 with me. I hoped it was true. I consulted Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny and they thought it was. I suppose they got me too.
