You come across some real humdingers in sixty plus years. There are the talkers and the doers.

The talkers have big mouths and bigger plans. They are always going to do something big and great and marvelous.

The doers are so busy doing their best they don't have time to brag.

Just an observation.

Too right Abe, most masterpieces come in mystical forms that create puzzles for later generations that never knew the sense of humor of their originators.

Very interesting and appropriate.

I once had an acquantance who bragged non-stop.

"Her husband was high on the promotion list."

"They were going to build a gigantic house. They would not fit into the small abode we had just moved into, etc.,"

Last I knew they were in a trailer house and her husband waa job hunting.

That rings so true Alice, there's a bragger around every corner where I am.

"I would not have written this book like that."

"I wouldn't get out of bed for less than £200 a day"

"I'd never work anywhere except in the civil service."

"I'm gonna go on a round the world cruise before I hit 40."

"I'm gonna sell my house at the top of the market and then buy back when it's cheaper"

Now I find some of these people are renting and broke.
