Well we agreed $14.95 is the price after they change it, for 48 hours.

If you want it. it is now $10.00 less costly from the PA bookstore.

I would like to get more copies of Keechie at a reasonable rate so I
can offer Granny Boo and Keechie as a package deal for those who
haven't read Keechie yet. I still haven't received the email from PA.

My biggest problem is that when they do offer a good deal there is
usually a minimum number attached and you have to pay shipping on all
of them - even on the buy one, get one free deals. They've got it
figured out... like some sellers on Ebay!

This offer is a real joke - good for 48 hours and then becomes permanent only if 19 copies are sold. It got a fast delete from me. I will give them credit for being shrewd business people who know how to rope people in.

You got that right. I can regularly buy my book for $16.97 a piece. $!4.95 is no big deal.

It would be nice if that could be the price on Amazon and Barnes and Noble though.

In order for that to happen they must sell 19 ciopies at the lowered price. always a gimmick.

I wonder why they picked me.

I'm with Dick. In one breath they say 48 hours and then say it might take six weeks for processing. It seems to me the chance of selling that many books before the deadline is basically nil.

My first offer was more than reasonable. They came back with a higher price. I responded saying that their offer was still higher than the original list price of the book and that I would not promote my book at that price.
They asked me to give them a new offer and I did. I lowered it from my original offer. It was of course, no deal.

UPDATE: A lady frorm PA called and said that unfortunately 19 books had not sold at $14.95--would I wish to purchase them.

I said no the exorbitant shipping fees had turned me against the deal.

She said it wouLd be in my best intersts to purchase the books. I did not agree. She gave up.

I wish I had said, I wanted 5 of Dick's book at $14.95 and would pay $5.00 total shipping.

Just to drive her up the wall--sometimes I am too slow.

Guess what new deal-- 60% off shipping-- still too high though.

They are desperate. I am not.

My idea is why not set a reasonable price and leave it.
Charge a reasonable shipping fee.
Quit the games.
