Your brothers pushed you over? How many did you have?

All my one brother did was chase me with a run over toad and threaten to stuff it down my neck or make me eat it, make me hold snakes, etc., but he never pushed me off my stilts.

My twin daughter was the same. When she was in fifth grade, there a boy who lived down the street who was bullying her twin brother. One warm day I had the windows open, and as the children on our street departed the school bus, I heard her say, "If you bully my brother ever again I'm going to beat you up real good."

She meant it, but never had to do it. I think when you have a twin brother, you just get involved in stuff you wouldn't if you had a twin sister. She always had the idea she had to be able to do everything her brother did, like bailing hay, and many other endeavors. (Perhaps this is on the wrong thread.)

Alice, I have two brothers, one is three years older and one six years younger. It was never ending, they tormented me with bugs, snails, spiders and snakes. I don't like any of those critters.

You poor thing. My brother actually liked me and tried to keep me safe,

Ny aunts and uncles came to visit from California and jokingly said they ought to take me home with them.

My brother grabbed hold of me and said,
"Don't you worry, I won't let them take you away."

I found it! I told you they were tall stilts!

I love your new picture. Your stilts are very tall. How on earth did you walk with them?

I started with shorter stilts and worked up to the taller ones. The real tall ones were not as much fun as the shorter ones.

My family thought I could do everything. They wanted me to have adventures.

I couldn't really do everything. I was a lot more frightened of life than they thought I was.

They were good people.

Alice, my brothers helped to toughen me up. I have no problem taking them down a peg or two these days. lol
