Well I decided to take a new turn in my spin in life and enroll in Kaplan University Online. I decided it was time to further my education somehow other than mainstream college or university.

I was able to transfer some credits...and found out I was able to get pell grant for my financials.

I am going to try to become a teacher...but we shall see.
My major will be communications

You will do well, MJ. You should find teaching to be a rewarding career.

My younger daughter just signed on as a counselor for a communications magnet school.

I love school! Every year at about this time I am looking at catalogues and checking them out. I hope you get a lot out of it MJ, and enjoy yourself.
This year I am working on French. What are the rest of you learning now?

I'm afraid I'm in the classroom of NPR from 6-7 a.m. and 3-4 p.m. five days a week. I learn about current events, I hear book reviews, and on Fridays, I have a science lesson about things I never imagined. It's my audio course.

I will have to swing 6 semester hours sometime between now and 2010 to keep my teaching credentials, probably something useless online just to reinstate my credentials. Pitiful, huh.

DK that's not pitiful, just very real. Hope you find something that fascinates your imagination.

I'm off to the library to collect some French stuff.
