No More News--Please!

Drive me insane--I am there already.

We were all set to go to the Tri-Cities tomorrow for the sevice of a dear friend of ours who passed from lung cancer--never having smoked.

I feel so guilty. Four years ago his wfe showed up on my front porch totally distaught. Her husband had terminal lung cancer and she had double breast cancer.

When you go through fire like this with someone, you are bonded for life,
She had a double mastetomy and is approaching the five-year cured date. and her husband succombed.

I feel so guilty I know he trusted me to be with her. The news carried on about the snow until we canceled our hotel reservation. I told her we don't dare be trapped east of the mountains when our plane is leaving for Michigan on Tuesday.

Now if it doesn't snow like crazy on the pass I will be livid.

It is snowing like crazy--3 passes are shut down, and I think it was Snoqualmie that they hope to have opened in a while. Good thing you stayed home. Give her a call--a long one. There is more snow coming, they say!

This morning I love the news. Why? Most anything beats sleeping.

I have forgotten how to do that--maybe I should eliminate it from my schedule. When I was young I could sleep anywhere, anyplace, anytime.

We went to see the Nixon, Frost movie last night, it was riveting. I understand that people loathe Nixon --I do not.

WHEN WE CAME HOME IT WAS SNOWING--THIS MORNING THE SNOW IS STILL HERE AND IT IS BEAUTIFUL.

I went to bed near midnight and thought I would sleep all night. I was wrong--I have turned into a mean mule I kicked and ruined my feet, legs and entire body.

Dave 's chest got it, because when he tried to awaken me, he turned into a real villlan in my dream and I did a few Walker Texas Ranger moves on him.

I was so horrified I got up and turned on the news. Bleep,
bleep they were bleeping all over the place.

That is my favorite word--disallowed in my book by my squeaky clean editor.

Oh well!

Sheesh Alice, it sounds like you need to be restrained while sleeping. Only while asleep! We would miss you if you got too restrained!

A strait jacket would probaly do the trick--except I am so claustrophobic, I'd probably just scream all night and raise the dead.

You'll have to find a crooked jacket. Shouldn't be difficult for a crooker.
