I have Been Attacked By The Government

I have had a very strange experience that came out of left field. An agency of the US government has accused me of claiming copyright, publishing and selling one of their publications because some entity with a similar sounding name to the Book Express I use for publishing my books is claiming to be the publisher of their book overseas. I gave plenty of evidence to the contrary, but I think the attorney is now using ego to stick to her position. I reviewed this crazy situation below. It shows how sloppy an agency of the government can be before it makes an accusation.

You aren't kidding - this is like other worlds.  I hope you are at least able to exploit this into a top selling novel! 

I'm embarrassed for the government and feel badly that you have been so accused falsely. Please keep us up to date and I wish a speedy release from their accusations.

That's a hard spot to be in. Gov agencies don't back off, even if they find they are wrong. Get a good criminal attorney. Something like this could cost you $100,000 USD, plus attorney expenses for filing fees, and all the other junk.
If you wait, and they bring criminal charges, you will have to put up a bond to get out of jail.
You might be wise to also file a counter civil suit against the person(s) who filed the complaint.

Get a lawyer to sue on a contingency  basis.  This may be your lucky day.
Just the thought  of what they are in for makes me feel very festive. 

I'm wondering what Victor's take on this might be.
