This is no joke. Three young men entered a convenience store in Belgium around noon, yesterday, demanding money from the cashier. The cashier said, “We just delivered all the cash to the bank, if you come back at 4:30, there may be as much as 100,000 Euros in the cash register and you can have it all.” In the meanwhile, the store manager alerted the police. At 4 PM the same young men entered the store and approached the cashier asking for the money. Since the police had not yet arrived, the cashier said, “I only have about 1000 Euros, but if you come shortly before closing time, there will be much more. They left the store and all three returned shortly before closing time. The police were waiting and nabbed them. The store owner proclaimed that they were probably the most stupid robbers ever to appear in Belgium.
My wife is still laughing. It was a good start for the day.
