The problem with a closed mind is that it's usually only partially closed. The eyes and ears are closed, but the mouth stays open. If it would slam shut the pie hole, it would be more tolerable.

Good insights in the above posts.  They can be a good reference/reminder and I would like to see them remain. 
We often reference quotes by famous people.  If a none famous person would say the same thing, it would not be recognized as something profound or special.  It is much the same with credentials.  We all have experiences that are special.  We can make profound statements that are most often discounted, and yet if any one achieves some prominence, those statements take on a new meaning. 
I appreciate the insights from people whose life experiences reveal much wisdom.  Their credentials are lived.
