The mangy coyotes are still on the front page of every news site. More interesting, however, are the articles about how the Russian government was already tracking this family and had WARNED the US government about them. Yet this family was allowed "refugee" status and was even collecting welfare benefits.

Seriously, are we the biggest patsies around or what. It will be our undoing. The only good that could come of this is hopefully it will derail the amnesty train wreck (which will also be our undoing). Let the "vibrants" go back to the countries that need their vibrancy, diversity, fabulous work ethic and heuristic way of solving problems far more than we do.

Or again, maybe this is all deliberate.

LC, I too heard about the warning given to the US by the Russians about this family. Makes me wonder how often we have been warned and ignored the warnings.

I have to go back to urgent care tomorrow , still
have the Bronchittis ! VEry congested, evidently the

Dear Joe,

Can you ask the doctor for a shot of antibiotics that may help.? Sometimes you have to tell them (dr) what you need. Bronchial Pneumonia is nothing to play with. DEMAND some better treatment. Every day your lungs are congested damages your lungs. Get mad!

I find more and more we need to take command of our own health. I am anemic again and they wanted to put me on the intravenous iron. This would be the third time. I suggested perhaps they should try a nutritionist who can evaluate all my pharmaceuticals, supplements and eating to see if a new combination might have a better impact on iron metabolism.

That has been arranged. At least I can put off the intravenous every week for eight weeks until this is given a chance.

I have an issue in my heel that is very common. They said either steroid shots or surgery. I suggested physical therapy. I'm scheduled for physical therapy.

I don't know if either of my suggestions will work, but at least they are less invasive attempts first.

In the case of something life threatening, demanding the best and most effective treatment first is sometimes required.

When I can't breath, I call the dr. office and tell them to schedule me for a shot. Otherwise, they would prescribe pills that take forever.

Went back to Urgent Care today, the Physician's Assistant told
me I couldn't take anymore Antibiotics because the Z PAck
Antibiotics lasts ten days even though you only take it for 5
days, plus I still have to use the Musinex, what can I say ? I
shall see what happens ?

I have " Humana Medicare," they've always been good,
I guess when you take an antibiotic , you can't take another
one right away, I'll wait till next Mon, that's when it should be
out of my system..Then I'll call my Dr.

I'm an ex-smoker, Joe. I have chronic bronchitis. Haven't had a flare-up in some time, but personally find that Musinex does more harm than good.

Urgent care centers with physician's assistance remind me of the old HMO's Do you have a personal physician, and can you talk to him/her on weekends? Are you running a fever?

sorry to ask so many questions, but I went through the HMO run-around a couple of times back in Houston. Sometimes, like Betty said, you have to stand your ground, especially when you are being treated by a PA. You should have the right to see a dr if you request one.
